Welcome to Our Awards Program

Purpose and Mission

Since putting our first web site on the web several years ago, our sites have won many awards. We did not always win. However, we persevered. We made changes and improvements to our sites based on the advice and (sometimes harsh) criticisms from the award community.

We have always greatly appreciated each and every award that we have received. We wanted to show our appreciation to the internet, the hard working people who decide to make their own web site, and the award communities, by developing our own award program and awarding those applicants and web sites that we feel contribute to the world wide web. In other words, we wanted to give something back.

Not everyone will qualify for one of our awards. The judging process of an award program is somewhat subjective as it depends on each judge's personal definition of a web site under the categories of: design, clutter, use of blank space, and many other types of criteria we are sure you have seen on the different awards programs.

We do not expect any web site designer or web owner to "fix" or redesign their site based on the fact they didn't qualify for one of our awards. Your site is your site and only you have to be happy with your creation.

Designing web sites is time consuming and sometimes brain numbing. To all the web masters and wannabe web masters - our hats are off to you for your dedication and perseverance.

While most of the Award Programs have similar criteria, it is important to read it thoroughly. And most importantly....

Remember, this is supposed to be fun!!   :-)
