Process
Award Submissions
We will accept applications all month.
Receipt of Application
Once we receive an Application, a preliminary review of the application will be made to determine if the application is filled out completely and correctly. We will then visit your site to verify your URL. The applicant at that point will be sent an E-mail stating their application has been received, and the review process has begun. You will also be sent an ID number to identify your site while it is on the status page.
If you do not receive this confirmation E-mail, it is probably because your E-mail is incorrect or you have some kind of spam filter, please notify us via E-mail that you have submitted an application and did not receive a confirmation E-mail. If you have an E-mail spam filter, please add us to your trusted senders list.
Review Time
The review process may take up to 3 weeks. If a site review cannot be completed within this time period, an E-mail will be sent to the applicant stating when the review process will be completed by. If this AP becomes inundated with applications and cannot complete a review within 3 weeks, we will suspend the taking of applications until such time as we catch up.
Review - Initial Visit
We will visit your site and check for Disqualifying items. If your site contains a Disqualifying item, the evaluation of your site will be immediately stopped. We will notify you via E-mail stating the review has stopped because of a DQ and we will let you know what that DQ is.
Review - First Visit
We will visit your site and continue the evaluation process based on our Criteria, Deductions, and Scoring.
Review - Second Visit
We will re-visit your site and continue the evaluation process based on our Criteria, Deductions, and Scoring and re-check any problem areas (i.e., a broken external link to see if the possibility is that the site was temporarily down due to server problems, etc.).
Notification
All applicants will receive an E-mail with the results of our review, regardless if the site has won an award or not. Any applicant winning an award, will also receive their award via E-mail.
Feedback
All applicants will receive a copy of their evaluation sheet which is in a Microsoft Excel format. If you do not have this program, please let me know at the time you receive your first E-mail confirmation from us. The Excel document will also contain any comments and laudation.
We reserve the right to deny any application or web site the future right to submit an application to this Awards Program, if that site or web master engages in any derogatory, inflammatory, insulting or vulgar correspondence to this Awards Program. Awards programs are supposed to be a fun and sometimes, a learning experience. If you can't take criticism, please do not apply for this award.
Awards and Terms of Use
A winning site will receive the award via an E-mail attachment. Please make sure your E-mail can receive an attachment.
As an applicant to this Award Program, the applicant is accepting our Terms of Use as follows:
- Applicant agrees that this AP can display their site name, country of origin, URL of their site, a 30 word or less site description, and screen shot. We reserve the right to edit the site description.
- Pelaqita Persians and Pelaqita Persians Award Program is a Family Safe site and we are extremely proud of that fact. It is important to this AP, and a requirement of this AP, that our award winners are also family safe. Pelaqita Persians does not accept any responsibility for any site that changes its site after we have completed our evaluation of that site.
- This AP checks the sites we have awarded on a regular basis. If it is found that a site has changed their content and/or site to include adult-rated material, abuse against people or animals, hatred, violence, prejudice against any person or persons, this AP reserves the right to revoke the award.
- Failure to comply with any of these conditions, will result in the retraction of the award. The site will be sent an E-mail informing them of the infraction and asking them to remove the award image within three (3) days. Their site will be removed from our winners' list.

Winners
All recipients of an award will be displayed on our respective winners' page with the date awarded, site name, country, site description, and a screen shot. All winners will have a link back to their site's main page.
Re-Application for Non-Winning or DQ'd Sites
Sites not receiving enough points to qualify for an Award, can reapply after a 90 waiting period. The 90 days start from the date this AP posts the previous application on the "Status" page. Please keep track of when you applied for an award. If an application is received prior to the 90 days, we reserve the right to deny the applicant for a 6 month waiting period.
Application for upgrade
Those sites wishing to upgrade an award to a higher award, may do so after the 90 day waiting period as outlined above. The reapplying site must reflect significant changes and/or improvement. Such changes and/or improvements should be outlined in detail in the "comments" section of the Application.
Award Winner Requirements
All award winners (rated awards or not) are required to display the award on their awards page and a link back to Pelaqita Persians home page (http://www.pelaqitapersians.com) would be greatly appreciated (although not required). Award winners are required to post the award within seven (7) days of notification by Pelaqita Persians. If the award is not displayed within seven (7) days, Pelaqita Persians Award Program will assume the applicant has "refused" the award and it will therefore will be revoked. If an award is revoked, the site will be barred from reapplying for 240 days.
Our award image should not be altered or optimized in any way.
Once a winning site has posted our award on their winners' page, they should E-mail this AP with the information of where the award is posted. This AP will verify that the award has been posted. Once such verification has been made, this AP will post the winner on the appropriate winner's page.
If Pelaqita Persians Award Program determines that a winning site is no longer displaying the award, then this AP will assume the winner has "refused" the award. At that time, this AP will remove any screen shot, site description and will move the site's name to the bottom of the page.
