Susan MacArthur
Susan is a retired paralegal, wife to John, mother to Christina, and grandmother to Olivia, Ryan, and Aiden. She enjoys reading, riding her Arabian horse Monte, raising and showing her Persian cats, and raising and showing her German Shepherd dogs.
Susan's web design and graphic experience is mostly self taught. Over the past several years, she has learned Paint Shop Pro and enjoys making graphics with this program. She uses Dreamweaver for designing web sites and considers herself somewhat knowledgeable about coding and using CSS. Susan enjoys learning new techniques and implementing them on her own web sites. She is aware of, and uses, many tools to check for valid code, HTML, CSS, missing or dead links, as well as general accessibility. All of this will assist her to fairly evaluate a web site.
Susan is the owner of Pelaqita Persians Award Program, as well as an evaluator for Franzi's Reptilien Award Program, Paradise Award Program, and Firestarter Award Program, where she has gained additional experience in the evaluation process.
Since having her own web sites on the www for several years and then applying for awards, Susan has learned about design, layout, accessibility and much more. If she didn't know something or couldn't figure it out, she asked questions of those that did know. Susan has created two sites for herself, and has designed and maintained five others. She enjoys the whole process of web design from concept, figuring out the colors that work well together and trying to get what she envisions for a site to actually work!

Rhonda Serong
A self-taught ( with much help from award community members ) award program owner who holds multiple Business and Computer Consultancy qualifications with the New Zealand Institute of Management, Rhonda has long term hobbies of writing, reading historical novels and spending time with her grandchildren and pet feline.
The experiences of being an evaluation team member within multiple award programs have been invaluable providing far reaching knowledge extensions in the areas of award program management, design, evaluation skill enhancements and fine tuning the ability to view web sites with wider perspectives including the use of ' fuzzy logic ' as and when required.
One of the founders of both CEM ( now closed ) and APEX evaluation experience has been as guest evaluator for the Nem5 Best of 1999 Awards - guest evaluator for PeaceWorkDot Com People's 1999 Choice S.O.T.Y Awards - Evaluator for the Millennium Design Awards 2000 - 2001 - PeaceWork Certified Sites Evaluator 2001 - Valkyrie's Awards Evaluator from 2002 to 2005. ( All the above unlinked award programs are now closed. ) From 2004-05-27, Rhonda has been the co-owner ( now sole owner ) of WebsAwards. From 2006-08-17, she joined the evaluation staff at U.W.S.A.G. and from November 2006 became the Director of Services at APEX and took up a position on the evaluation staff at the Talking Hands Awards. Her award Program O.N.Z.C.D.A. is currently rated Award Sites 5.0+ Elite - Worlds Top Award ( Gold Award upwards only ) - WebsAwards 5.0 - U.W.S.A.G 6.0 - I.W.A.R.A Elite 5.0+ - F.R.I Award-Index 5.0 - Awards Treasure Chest 5.0 - Wsaptronic 6.0 - A.W.A.R.D 5.5 - A.P.I.R.S 5.0 - B.E.I 8.5.
